Delaney's Dance Recital

I'm going to try and do a better job updating my blog! We've had a busy weekend of dance. Delaney's recital on Saturday was "Cinderella". Here's the video... (She is in the back row on the far left.) More pictures to come later! We enjoyed Grandma and Grandpa coming all the way here to see her dance.

A Day in the Life...

Our girls are growing up so fast! It's hard to believe!!!

Olivia is in 3rd grade, Delaney in 4 year old preschool, and Jillian will be 2 in just a month!

Here's what life is like at our house:

6:30 am - all of our sleeping angels are rudely awoken by the mean grownups!

6:45 am - everyone is getting into uniforms and eating breakfast (waffles seem to be the fav right now!)

7:10 am - out the door!

7:30 am - everyone arrives at school and the fun begins!!

3:30 or so - Mom or Dad start the pick-up process. No one really wants to come home - we're all having fun with our friends!!!

Mondays: Dance classes for Olivia and Delaney - 5-7pm
Tuesdays: Brownies or Piano for Olivia
Wednesdays: Children's Choir practice and/or piano lesson for Olivia
Thursday: Nothing! Yea!
Friday: We all collapse from the busy week!

Life with 3 busy girls is hectic, but we love every minute!!! Jillian is learning so many new words - she loves things that are "Purple" and will point them out wherever we go! I think she's going to be a wildcat!!! :)

The haircut and other silly pics...

Olivia REALLY wanted to get her hair cut short so today I took her to finally get it done. She wanted it to be pretty short and I was nervous, but she was great! She loved it and keeps telling us so!! I was scheduled to get cut after her and she talked me in to the same haircut but it's definitely cuter on her! :)

Happy February, everyone!!! :)

I have made it a goal to try and publish things on my blog as they happen instead of weeks (or months) later!

We took a trip to Kansas last weekend to see Joel's mom and his sister's family as well as my family. We had a great time, even though we were just there for a few days.

Some highlights:

-going to the Shawnee County Library with Jane. They have the BEST kids section! Lots of fun things to do...

























































-Seeing Isabelle (our niece) again. She is such a sweetie and is growing so fast!






















-Visiting the farm during calving season.











































-Seeing Grandma's new project - egg-laying chickens! I took a ton of pictures of the girls checking the nests for eggs. It was so much fun!!!

















































































-Playing dress-up with my old prom dress and Grandma's old prom dress!!!

Welcoming 2009 (finally!)

It's been 2 months since I've posted on my blog so I'll try to catch up on things:

Dec. 2008 - Our first niece, Isabelle Faith Reiser, was born. Olivia's Christmas Recital for her dance classes (ballet and hip-hop); Holiday celebration all around; traveled all over Kansas for 8 days and then spent a week relaxing at home.

Jan. 2009 - Joel and I celebrated our 8th anniversary! Delaney's tap Christmas Recital; Celebrated Delaney's 4th birthday with friends and family; Joel's grandmother, Valeria, passed away on the 25th. Spent a few days in Kansas with the Hermesch side of the family. Ice storm here in Tulsa cancelled school for 3 days. Olivia's PE sharing day at school. Jillian's first haircut (bangs only!)

Feb. 2009 - Celebrated Joel's 36th birthday; Olivia's Fairy Tale Play at school - she starred as the Fairy Godmother!
